Lonquimay Icalma lake

All this pictures are part of one of the most beautiful trips of my life. The summer of 2017 I traveled with some friends to “Lonquimay, region de la Araucanía”, we visited different indigenous communities around de Icalma Lake. The people who received us with much love in 4 different sectors: Huallenmapu, Cruzaco, Rincón 1 y Pedro Kalfuqueo. They allow us camping in their gardens, sharing their meals and especially their culture.  These photographs were taken by me and my friends, in all appear the Icalma Lake. The first and last picture were taken from Rincón 1, meanwhile the second picture is of it small bridge where a ferry arrives once a day for the people that must be mobilized to Icalma, a little village that has basic services that other sectors didn’t have. I could share many other pictures telling you about the people and the experience, but that would be very long.
